I didn't realize this halal also had Indian food. I was so pleasantly surprised! I ordered the chicken tikka over rice. Wow, chicken is so soft and delicious and the rice tastes really fresh too. The person working seemed friendly and clearly a good cook. I was however unsure of what happend with the final bill.. I thought the chicken tikka was only $10, and water bottle was $2. The guy told me $15 and I paid with a card but then I saw the charge was $17.25... so not sure if it was taxes PLUS a credit card fee. Either way, at the end of the day the price was fine for the really good value of the meal.

Everything about this place is amazing. The workers and the owner are incredibly nice and the food is AMAZING. I stayed in New York for 3 days and ate here every single day. Everything here is great but my favorite is definitely the Kofta over Rice & Chicken Biryani. If your in NYC you have to come here without a doubt.

Best street vendor in New York 2018. I can see why. I usually just get a hot dog but we decided to try the curry chicken over rice. I have to say it has a lot a flavor very juicy and a bit of heat. I’ve been here a few times and he tried to give me a deal but I added an extra tip because service is phenomenal for a street vendor.

Really good food and friendly service. I’ve visited multiple times and have had different menu items. Each is flavorful. The portion size is large as well. Always a tasty and inexpensive option in midtown.

We got the Tikka! It was delicious. We saw people enjoying it before we got to the cart. When we arrived we were greeted with warmth and treated like friends. They listened to all of our extra sauce requests and let us try a piece of meat before we purchased. Everything was superb. The portions of were great! It was so wonderful to sit outside and eat delicious food together after having such wonderful interactions. Thank you Royal Grill Halal! Congratulations on great business!

One of the best Halal carts in NYC. I'm on an extremely tight budget, hot meals are a rare commodity for me. I can always rely on Royal Grill for good heartwarming food, $10 here and I feel like a King in NYC. It's arguably the cheapest Halal food cart in Manhattan! You're a literal life saver. I ate good food today because of you. Thank you.
